Renewable Energy Systems
JEMA has long been a pioneer in Spain in the design of converters for renewable energy installations. 30 years ago we developed a traction system prototype for an industrial electric vehicle, which was followed in the subsequent years by other applications in this field: photovoltaic inverters, converters for hydraulic energy, systems for energy efficiency and grid quality, etc.
Today, our activity is focus on the development of robust high-performance converters designed for wind, photovoltaic and hydrogen energy plants, etc.: IF series PV Inverters; converters for Rotor Current Control aerogenerators, Weak and Doubly Fed Grids (DFIM); grid-powered battery charger-dischargers; various systems for improved energy efficiency (active filters, stabilisers, cos φ regulators); as well as other specific developments as outlined by the customer.
Although some of this equipment may reach a regular production line, here too JEMA offers the possibility of customising it according to user requirements.
So as to best respond to the demands of the photovoltaic market, JEMA has created the JEMA SOLAR trademark, under which we bring together all the activities and services in the world of photovoltaic installations, chiefly grid-connected power plants.
